I chose Mr Dandachli based on the reviews on this site and thank goodness! All the reviews are accurate. At 51 I required a total hip replacement and prior to the operation was in a lot of pain, struggling with mobility and unable to do normal activities. Mr Dandachli is a very calming influence, he explains things well and is very open about options and the procedure. My procedure was carried out at the Nuffield in Leamington also known as the Warwickshire Nuffield. The procedure went well and after the operation, I followed the instructions given to the letter. Within 4 weeks I was walking well with one crutch and able to potter around the house and now at only 5 weeks having just had a review with Mr Dandachli I am walking comfortably without my crutches. Mr. Dandachli cares about his patients, listens to any concerns and provides advice and guidance as required. I can't recommend him enough and he will do whatever he can to preserve hips. On a more general note, follow all the instructions you are given for the total of the 6 weeks recommended completing all the exercises recommended as best you can. I am confident that after 9 weeks I will be able to confidently walk my daughter down the aisle as has been my focus from the date of my surgery and wear heels to do it. All down to the quality of the surgery and guidance provided.

Mr Dandachli and his team at Rugby St Cross hospital have done a fantastic job in repairing my hip. Right from the beginning I have received thorough treatment from kind and considerate doctors. The experience of surgery was much easier than expected due to the respect, care and careful explanation of what would be done (and a reassuring smile)! Mr Dandachli has done a superb job of repairing my hip and I cannot thank him enough for making the process so manageable and improving my quality of life. I am now mostly pain free on my right hip and will be having my left done soon. I have had a first rate experience with Mr Dandachli. I feel lucky to have had him as my surgeon. The care I have received has been exemplary and I would fully recommend.

I cannot think of any way to improve the experience of my LH hip replacement by Mr Dandachli and his team. (March 2019) Right from first consultation through to sign-off in August his pleasant, understanding demeanour has smoothed the entire process. His quiet and confident manner, along with detailed discussion of the operation, dispelled much of the apprehension prior to surgery. Recovery has been far more rapid than anticipated, to the extent that already memory of the events of March have largely retreated into the subconscious ! I am gtateful that Mr Dandachli has also gone to considerable lengths to keep my GP up-to-date with my progress, both prior and post the procedure. If, come the day I need my RH hip, or knees, replacing, I would hope Mr Dandachli will be available.
